Domain Name Registration
This is the process whereby you “stake your claim” to the exclusive use of your chosen name. For instance, we have chosen and registered the domain name http://www.WebByDesign.com. This ensures that we have exclusive use of this name for a set period of time, usually a few years. We will register your name for as long as you decide is necessary.

Domain Name Renewals
Domain Name Registrations do not last forever, they last for as long as you have paid for them. Therefore, when the time has expired, your domain name must be renewed so that you retain your right to it. To prevent our clients from ever losing their domain names we always perform a domain lock and set the domain up for automatic renewal.

Domain Name Transfers
When you register your domain name you will use a Registrar. You may transfer your domain from one Registrar to another by performing a domain name transfer Domain Name Transfer
Already have a ".com" address? You don't have to lose it, or change it when you start hosting with Web By Design. We can handle the transfer process for you. . All of our hosted clients are required to transfer their domains to Web By Design, Inc. so that we have exclusive control over the name.

Domain Name Brokering
Sometimes you may want a particular domain name that belongs to someone else. Or you may wish to sell a name that already belongs to you. In either case we are able to broker these services for you by directly contacting the individual or business that owns the domain or wishes to purchase it.
